Kohinoor Art & Crafts

At Kohinoor Art & Crafts, we are based in the M.I.A. area of Basni, specifically Phase II. It is a very industrial part of town, so there is plenty of dust and trucks moving around constantly. Our space is A-43 (A). It's not a very pretty building, just a functional one where we do our work. We have different sections for the crafts, and it can get quite messy with all the materials we use. There’s usually someone sanding something or packing things into crates. The air is often thick with the smell of whatever we are working on that day. It is quite a walk from the main road, so it stays a bit quieter inside than you might expect. We have been in Basni for quite a long time now. The guys in the shop know the routine well. We start early before it gets too hot, though in the summer it doesn't really matter what time you start. We have a lot of shelves filled with finished pieces and raw materials. It takes a lot of effort to keep the inventory from getting mixed up. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure things get sent out to where they are going. It’s a simple life in an industrial estate, just doing what needs to be done. The tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up during the breaks.
