Kanta Devi Welfare Foundation

Kanta Devi Welfare Foundation is situated at 9/140 in K.K Colony, right in Basni-1. It is a practical location for us and easy to find. We are surrounded by other houses and some small shops, so it feels like a real community. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more like a house that we turned into a workspace. We spend a lot of our time dealing with local issues that people bring to us. Some days are very busy and others are a bit slower, which gives us time to catch up on paperwork. We don't really have a set routine. We just show up and see what the day brings. The people working here are all locals who understand the area well. We don't like to overcomplicate things. If something needs doing, we just go ahead and do it. There are no long meetings or fancy presentations. We prefer just sitting down and talking things through with whoever stops by. Sometimes the neighbors bring over some snacks or tea, which is nice. We’ve become a part of the daily life in Basni. We are just trying to be useful in a way that makes sense for the people living nearby. It’s honest work and we like being here at our K.K Colony address. It’s a good place to be for a foundation like ours.
