Jugnu Beads

We spend our days at Majaraja Hari Singh Nagar 27 in Jodhpur City. It is a busy little place filled with beads of every shape and size you can imagine. The shelves are mostly made of old wood and they sag a bit under the weight of all the glass and plastic. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just us and the inventory. Sometimes the Jodhpur heat gets a bit much, but we keep the fans going and stay busy sorting. We handle everything by hand. You get used to the tiny things getting into the cracks of the floor. People find us by asking around because the house number can be tricky to see from the main road. It is a quiet neighborhood for the most part. We like it here in Majaraja Hari Singh Nagar. We aren't a big corporation. It is just a local business where we know our stock. If you need a specific color, we usually have to hunt for it in the back. There is no computer system for the inventory. We just know where things are from doing this every day. The walls are covered in samples that have been there for years. We just keep at it, one bag of beads at a time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the city.
