Jazz Dance Academy

We’ve been here in Shastri Nagar for a while now. Most days it’s just a lot of noise and people tripping over their own feet. It started because we just liked moving around and figured others might too. The floor gets scuffed up pretty bad by the end of the week, especially when the kids come in for their afternoon sessions. It’s not a fancy place, just some mirrors and a sound system that occasionally acts up if you don’t plug the cable in right. We spend a lot of time just cleaning up water bottles and making sure the fans are working because it gets really hot in here during the summer months. People come by after work or school, looking a bit tired, but they usually leave looking a bit better, even if they didn't get the steps right. We don't really do big speeches or anything. It's mostly just showing someone where their foot goes and doing it again until it sticks. There’s a tea stall around the corner where we usually end up after the last class. Some days the music is too loud and the neighbors complain, but we try to keep things friendly. It's just a regular spot for folks who don't want to sit at home all evening. We keep the doors open when it's breezy. Nothing too complicated really, just a dance floor and some people doing their thing. We even have a leaky faucet in the back that we’ve been meaning to fix for months.
