We’ve been here at A-52 in Samrath Nagar for quite a while now. Most folks around Jalam Vilas know where the yard is. It’s a busy spot right on Paota B Road. If you walk in, you’ll probably see white dust on just about everything. That’s just part of the job when you deal with lime every day. My father started things out, and we just kept going with it. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows. We spend most of our time out in the back or talking to drivers who come in to load up. The gate usually stays open from early morning till late evening. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the trucks turning in, but the neighbors are used to us by now. We handle a lot of different bags and bulk stuff. It’s hard work, keeping the inventory straight and making sure the quality is what it should be. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Jalam Vilas during the summer months. We mostly just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure people get what they need for their building projects. There’s always something to sweep up or a pallet that needs moving. It’s just me and a few guys who have been here for years. We don't do much advertising. People usually just find us because they know we are reliable and have been at this address forever.
