Indian Furniture Inc. is located in the Boranada Industrial Area. Working in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise and movement around us. Our workshop is a large space filled with the smell of wood and finish. We spend our days cutting, sanding, and putting things together. It is hard work and our clothes usually end up covered in sawdust by noon. We don't have a fancy office or a polished front desk. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor where the actual making happens. Boranada is a busy place with lots of other factories nearby, so there is always a sense of activity. We have been here for a while and we have our own way of doing things. We don't follow any corporate handbooks. We just use our tools and the experience we have gained over the years. The benches are worn and the floor has its share of scuffs. It’s a real working environment. Sometimes it gets loud with the saws running, but that is the sound of progress for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the pieces we are building. People know we are here if they need something made. We aren't about big advertisements. We just stick to our spot in the industrial area and do the work that comes our way. It is a plain, honest living that keeps us occupied.
