Iit Jodhpur Marudhara Foundation

The Iit Jodhpur Marudhara Foundation is located at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, out on Nagaur Road in Karwar. Being associated with the institute gives us a place to work from, but we are very much our own thing. We focus on the local area around Jodhpur and the Marudhara region. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, out where the landscape starts to get more open and quiet. We have a small office space there where we coordinate all our activities. We are not about big corporate goals or flashy presentations. Most of us are just regular people who want to use what we have to help the community. We spend a lot of our time out in the field, talking to locals and seeing what the actual needs are. It is not always what you would expect from the outside. Sometimes the simplest things are what really matter most to people. We do not have a lot of polished marketing materials. We just do the work and let that speak for itself. It can get incredibly hot out here in Karwar during the summer, but we are used to it by now. We are just trying to be a positive presence in this part of Rajasthan. We take things slow and try to make sure we are actually doing something useful. Just us in our corner.
