If you walk down Mgh Road, you’ll find us right across from the old Rai Bahadur Market. It’s a busy part of the city, and our shop is usually full of gear. We deal with security tech, but it’s not all high-tech and shiny like in movies. Most of the time it’s just us untangling cables or testing out DVRs on the bench. We started this because we liked working with our hands and seeing how stuff connects. The market across the street is always noisy, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We don't really do the whole polished business thing. Our desks are usually covered in screwdrivers and half-finished projects. When someone comes in, they usually have a problem with a camera or they want to see what’s going on at their shop when they aren't there. We explain how it works without using too many big words because we don’t like that stuff either. It’s a small team here. Sometimes we stay late because a job took longer than we thought, or the wiring in an old building was acting up. That’s just part of the job. We don’t have any fancy mission statements. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure everything is plugged in right before we head home. It’s a simple way to make a living and it keeps us around the local market. It’s good work for us.
