You can find Hindustan Motor Company tucked away right behind Os Motor Pvt Ltd on Upper Chopasni Road. It is a busy part of the road, and sometimes you might miss the turn if you aren't looking for it. We have been working out of this space for a long time. The floor is usually covered in some kind of grease or oil, and there is always the sound of tools being used. We deal with motors and vehicles all day long. It isn't a clean office job; it is manual and often quite dirty, but that is what we know how to do. We have a few guys here who have been working on engines since they were young. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV or anything. Most folks just drop off their stuff and we tell them when it might be ready. We try to keep things moving so the yard doesn't get too crowded. The sun can get pretty hot on this side of the road in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. We have stacks of parts everywhere and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we need, but we usually know where everything is. It’s a practical place for people who need their machines looked at. We just keep our heads down and do the work, making sure we get through the queue of repairs waiting for us.
