You can find Gangour Art & Crafts over at 38, Udyog Nagar, Road No. 10, Mia Basni, Phase-Ii. Being in an industrial area means there’s always a lot of trucks and noise around us. Our building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain concrete structure. Inside, though, we’re always busy making things. We do a lot of traditional work, mostly stuff involving painting and carving. The air usually smells like paint or sawdust. We have a small group of workers who have been with us since the beginning. We aren't into fancy titles or big meetings. We just get to work and talk while we do it. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common around here, and we just sit and wait or work by the light from the door. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. The floor is usually covered in scraps, and we do a big clean-up once a week on Saturdays. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. If someone wants to see what we do, they just come into the workshop and look at what’s on the benches. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but we take pride in the actual items we finish. Gangour Art & Crafts is just a place where we put in the effort every day. We aren't trying to be famous, just trying to do good work that feels right. It keeps us going every week.
