Furniture Jodhpur

Furniture Jodhpur is located over at 104, right near the Pili Tanki in Bhagat Ki Kothi. If you’re looking for us, just look for the big water tank and you’re pretty much there. The yard is usually full of wood planks drying out in the sun. It’s hot work, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just the way it is in this part of town. We spend a lot of time moving heavy stuff around. The floors are concrete and always have some kind of mark from moving crates or furniture. We don't have air conditioning in the main work area, so we just keep the big doors open for a breeze. It’s a noisy neighborhood with the trains nearby and the trucks coming in and out. Most of our crew lives close by, so we all know each other well. We eat lunch together under the shade when it gets too bright. The office is just a small room in the corner with a desk that’s seen better days. We aren't interested in looking polished or fancy. We just care about the wood and making sure it doesn't warp. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for something specific, and we have to dig through the back to see what we have. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something that needs fixing or moving. We start early and finish when the sun goes down, mostly.
