Dev Raj Bohra

Out here near Ghanta Ghar, things are always a bit noisy. Our place, Dev Raj Bohra, is tucked away in the Mahila Bagh area. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve been part of it for a while. The shop isn't very big, and sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we keep things moving. We don't do any big advertising. People just know where we are because they've been coming here for years. It’s a family thing, mostly. I spend most of my day sitting near the entrance. The traffic outside never seems to stop, especially near the clock tower. You get used to the sound of the horns after a while. We keep our supplies in the back room and the front is where we meet everyone. It’s an old building, very solid walls. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they just come over. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we close a bit early if the weather is bad or there's a festival in the bagh. It’s just a normal life here. We do our work and that’s it. No big plans to expand or anything. We like it where we are. It’s familiar. You see the same faces every day and that’s nice. Just a local spot doing local work for the people who live and work around the clock tower.
