Dev Interior

If you find yourself walking down Krishna Mandir Road near Subhash Chowk in Ratanada you will probably see our place. Dev Interior is where we spend most of our time measuring wood and looking at floor plans. It is not a very quiet shop because there is always a saw running or someone hammering something together in the back. We have piles of samples and wood shavings all over the floor most mornings. It is just a small team of us here trying to make things look decent for people's homes. Sometimes we get stuck on a tricky corner or a cabinet that does not want to fit right but we eventually figure it out. We do not use any big corporate talk here because we are just local guys who like working with our hands. The humidity sometimes messes with the wood but we handle it as it comes. We have been in this part of Ratanada for a while now and we know the neighbors pretty well. Usually there is a pot of tea going and some sawdust in the air. We do not have any polished sales pitch for anyone who walks through the door. People just come in and tell us what they need for their house and we see if we can build it. It is straightforward work and we like it that way. It keeps us busy and the days go by fast.
