Cosmo Social Welfare Foundation

The Cosmo Social Welfare Foundation is located on the first floor of Machhar Tower, which is on 1st B Road in the Sardarpura area of Jodhpur. Some people find the name of the tower a bit funny, but it is a well-known building around here. Being on the first floor is nice because we don't have to climb too many stairs, and we can still see what is happening down on the street. 1st B Road is a very busy place with a lot of shops and people walking by at all hours. Our office has a few windows that let in the bright Jodhpur sunlight, though we usually keep the blinds pulled halfway down so it doesn't get too hot. We have a few desks set up and a small area where we can sit and have tea. It is not a very large space, but we have made it work for our daily tasks. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls, so the office is usually filled with the sound of typing or someone talking. Sometimes the traffic noise from Sardarpura is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We are just a group of people working together in a rented space, trying to stay on top of our responsibilities and keep the foundation moving forward.
