The Kothi Heritage

We are tucked away in Bachraj Ji Ka Bagh, right behind the HDFC Bank on 9th A Pal Road. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t looking for it, but that’s okay with us. The building has been here for a long time and has that old style that you don't see much of anymore. We spend most of our mornings sweeping the front area and checking on the rooms. It gets busy on the main road, but once you turn off toward the bank, things get a lot quieter. There is always something to fix, whether it is a leaky pipe or a light that won't turn on. We don’t have any big corporate offices or fancy meetings. It is just us here, making sure the beds are made and the floors are clean. Most of the neighbors know us by now. We see the same people walking to work every morning. The garden area takes up some of our time too, especially when it hasn't rained in a while. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just wandering down the lane. It’s a decent place to spend the day, and we try to keep it looking respectable for whoever drops by. Just a regular business doing regular things. Sometimes the electricity goes out, but we just wait it out like everyone else.
