Shyam Industries

Working in Basni Phase I is a bit of a challenge with the dust and the trucks always blocking the road. Our unit at F-29 in M. I. A. is not anything special to look at. It is just a sturdy building where we get things done. We handle various industrial jobs, mostly small parts and stuff people need for their own bigger projects. The machines are old, but they still work perfectly if you know how to talk to them right. My brother and I are usually here by seven in the morning. The air is a bit cooler before the Jodhpur heat really kicks in. We do not spend money on fancy signage or big billboards. Most of our neighbors know what we do. If someone needs a part made or some metal work, they just walk in through the gate. We have a few guys who have been with us since we first opened up. They know the routine better than I do sometimes. We eat lunch together in the back of the shop. There is a small patch of shade near the front gate that we use. It is not a corporate office. There is grease on the walls and the floor is cracked in some places. But it is our space. We make sure the orders go out on time, or at least we try our best. Logistics can be a real headache around here. We just deal with things as they come. It is a simple life for us.
