Keshav Industries

Our workshop, Keshav Industries, is over at G-596 on Road No. 8 in the M. I. A. Basni Phase II area. Being in the industrial part of Jodhpur means there is always a lot of noise and activity around us. We focus on manufacturing, so there are always machines running and people moving material from one side of the floor to the other. It’s a practical place, not something you’d see in a magazine. We have oil stains on the floor and some old machinery that we still use because it works just fine for our needs. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we all know the routine without having to talk about it too much. My office is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood so I can hear myself talk on the phone. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Every bit of space is used for production or storage. The road outside can get pretty bumpy with all the heavy trucks passing by, and during the monsoon, it gets a bit muddy near the gate. But we are here every morning at eight, unlocking the gates and getting the power turned on for the day. We just make what our customers need and try to keep everything running smoothly without too much fuss. It’s just regular daily labor for us and we just keep our heads down and work.
