Dev Trading Company

Our spot is located at E-17 in Phase Ii of the Basni industrial area. Jodhpur is a very hot place, especially in the middle of the afternoon, but we have got a couple of fans going to keep us cool. Dev Trading Company is basically just a big warehouse and a small office space in the front. We deal with trading various types of goods across the region. There is usually a truck being loaded or unloaded out in the yard. The dust from the desert gets into everything, so we are always sweeping the floors. It is a very basic operation. We have a small crew and we have all known each other for a long time. There is no dress code here, so we just wear whatever is comfortable for moving heavy boxes around. We do not spend much money on advertising our services. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they have seen our trucks driving around Rajasthan. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks during the day. It is good to get out of the office and talk to the neighbors for a bit. We started small and stayed that way on purpose because it is easier to manage. Dealing with logistics can be a real headache sometimes, but we manage to get through it. It is just a regular day-to-day business for us.
