We have a couple of units here side by side because we need the extra room for all the processing equipment and the raw materials. Working with gum and different chemicals means the air inside usually has a very specific smell, something you get used to after a day or two. It’s an industrial setup, through and through. We have big vats and mixing tanks, and there is always a bit of a mess on the floor that we have to clean up after every batch. Jodhpur is a tough place to work in the summer because of the heat, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it gets too bad. We are a local business, run by people who live right here in the city. There aren't any suits or ties in our office. We just wear work clothes that can get dirty. Most of our day is spent watching the gauges and making sure the batches are turning out right. We’ve got a couple of old trucks that we use for local deliveries, and they’ve seen better days, but they still get the job done. We don't have a website that we update or anything like that. If people want to talk to us, they usually just call the landline or walk into the front gate. It is how things have been for years.
