Babu Lal Kirana Store

You can find Babu Lal Kirana Store right on Loco Running Road in Ratanada. We are tucked in between Bhaskar Circle and the Railway Hospital Circle here in Jodhpur. It’s a busy part of town with people always moving towards the station or the hospital. Our shop has been around for years, serving the local residents and anyone passing through. We carry all the usual grocery items, from lentils and rice to soaps and snacks. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get a fresh delivery of sacks that need to be emptied and sorted. It's a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but we try to keep it clean. I run this place with my brother, and we’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in with their own children. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure we have what people need so they don't have to go all the way to the big markets. Jodhpur gets very hot, so we usually take a short break in the afternoon when it’s quietest. We aren't trying to expand or do anything big. We are just happy being the local store for the 342001 area. It's steady work, and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We just do our best to keep the shelves full and the customers happy. Sometimes we even stay open a bit late if people are still out.
