Antiques & Remakes

We are located at 79, Ajit Colony. It's a place where we keep a lot of old things and some newer ones that look old. The building is easy to find if you know the colony well. We have been working out of this spot for a long time now. People come by to see what we have found lately. Sometimes we have furniture that needs a bit of fix-up and other times we have things that are ready to go. My father started this a while back and now we just keep it going. It is not a very big shop but it is full. We spend most of our days dusting things off or looking at catalogs for new remakes. The neighbors know us pretty well. If you walk down the street you can't miss the front door. We don't really have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just us here working. The back room is where most of the fixing happens. We get a lot of dust back there. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea. Other days someone wants a whole set of something and we have to move fast. It is a simple way to make a living. We like the old style of things better than the modern stuff you see in the big malls. Ajit Colony is a quiet enough place for what we do.
