This little shop is tucked away in Takiya Chand Sa Market, right on Mgh Road. If you know the area, you know it stays quite loud and crowded almost every day of the week. We’ve been at D 2 for a long time, surrounded by other stalls and small businesses selling all sorts of things. My workspace is usually covered in wires, screwdrivers, and parts of things people have brought in to get fixed. It isn’t the cleanest place because there is always some project half-finished on the bench. People come in with old radios, broken fans, or things that stopped working months ago. Most of the day is spent looking through a magnifying glass or soldering tiny bits of metal together. It’s honest work, even if the lights in here flicker sometimes when the power acts up in the market. We don’t have any big signs or fancy displays, just the name on the front and a bunch of spare parts stacked in the corners. The market has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Some customers have been coming to us since we first opened, mostly because they know we will just tell them if something is actually worth fixing or if it’s time to throw it out. It’s a small space, but it fits everything we need to get through the daily pile of work and repairs.
