Anantram Katta Jewellers

Anantram Katta Jewellers is located at 3 Riyan House, right by Sojati Gate. Sojati Gate is a landmark here, and there’s always a lot of activity near the entrance to the old city. The building, Riyan House, is an older structure, and our shop is on one of the lower floors. It’s a simple setup with some display counters and a couple of chairs for visitors. I usually start the day by wiping down the glass and checking the inventory. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch any breeze, though mostly it just lets in the sound of the traffic. I’ve been working here for years, and the routine is always the same. We don’t have fancy lighting or expensive decor. It’s just a place where we handle jewelry and talk to customers who have been coming to us for a long time. My desk is covered in old registers and a few tools for minor repairs. Sometimes we sit and talk with the neighbors while having some chai. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't bother with big advertisements. The name Anantram Katta Jewellers is on a small sign outside. We just focus on the work at hand and make sure the shop stays running. It’s a quiet life in a busy part of the city, and we like it that way.
