Amrit Exports

Amrit Exports is based at New Power House Road Industrial Area B 1. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise from the nearby factories and the heavy trucks rumbling past. Our building is a large, plain structure that is mostly filled with crates and packing materials. We spend our days checking items, wrapping them up, and loading them into containers. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it has to be done carefully. The air is often thick with the smell of diesel and dust from the road. We have a small office section that is partitioned off, but the noise still gets in. There are clipboards hanging on the walls with lists of things that need to be shipped out. We don't have any decorative plants or nice paintings. It is a place meant for working and moving goods. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on before we can use the machines again. We drink tea from the local stall and talk about the news while we wait. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We just focus on getting the crates out the door on time and making sure nothing gets broken in the process. It's just a regular warehouse life.
