Allied Cctv is located over in Karni Nagar, right by Krishna Nagar and close to the Sirvi Hostel. If you see the hostel, you’re pretty much there. We spend most of our time dealing with cameras, monitors, and a lot of tangled wires. It’s a practical business, we don't need a lot of fluff. The shop is filled with screens showing different angles, mostly just to make sure the equipment is working before it goes out to someone's house or shop. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice because it lets us focus on the technical details. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just a reliable place for people in the area. Most of the people who come in are locals who want to keep an eye on their property. We talk to them in plain English, no fancy jargon that nobody understands. The office is pretty basic—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of storage boxes for the hardware. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow street, but that’s just life in Karni Nagar. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a shiny website. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been around for a bit and people know where to find us. It’s a simple job, and we enjoy the hands-on nature of it. Most days we close up and head home once the sun goes down and things get dark.
