You can find Al Meraj Tours Travels on the second floor of the Shakoor Building. We are tucked away behind the National Handloom branch on Nai Sarak. It’s a busy part of town so the stairs can be a bit crowded sometimes. We’ve been operating from this office for a good while. We mostly help people with their travel plans, whether it’s for work or a holiday. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking flight schedules and visa requirements. It’s a lot of little details that you have to get right. Sometimes the rules change overnight and we have to scramble to fix things. We aren't a big fancy agency with posters everywhere. It’s a small space where we sit and talk to people. We try to find prices that make sense for regular folks. My uncle started this and we’ve just kept it going. We don't use any special marketing tricks. If someone wants to go somewhere, we try to find a way to get them there. The phones ring quite a bit and it gets noisy. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs while we wait for a booking to go through. It’s just how we run things here on Nai Sarak. We do our best to get the tickets printed and ready so our customers don't have problems at the gate.
