Our place is out in Jiribam at 05 Pousing Makamlong, right off NH 37 in Bidyanagarhilghat. If you’re looking at the papers, it’s Dag-565 and Patta-255/97. It’s a good location because the highway is right there, though it gets a bit dusty when the big trucks go by. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now. The building is simple and doesn't have any of those modern glass windows or fancy lights. It’s just a sturdy place where we can gather and talk about the crops. Most of us have been farming this land for years, so we know what we’re talking about. We aren't here to make big speeches or use complicated business words. We just want to make sure the farmers in this part of Jiribam have a way to organize their produce. Sometimes the power is out for half the day, so we just sit by the window and finish our work. We have a few old desks and some benches for when people come by to visit. It’s a community-driven thing, really. We all know each other’s families and how the harvest went last year. It’s not always easy, but it’s the life we know. We keep the doors open and try to stay useful to the people who rely on us. It’s just a local office doing local work and keeping things as straightforward as possible.
