We started this whole thing out in Bibipur, a small spot in Jind. It was just a simple idea Om Parkash had at home. People around here know us from the village and how we talk to the neighbors about their kids. We aren't some big city office with fancy desks. Mostly, we just sit around and figure out how to get more people to take pictures with their daughters and feel good about it. It sounds easy enough, but it takes up all our time. The mail comes to the house here in Haryana, and that's where we do the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the letters and photos people send in. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and keep working. People drop by sometimes to say hello or ask how they can help out. We just want to see more families smiling together. It’s been a long journey from when we first started in the village. We didn't really know it would grow like this. The office is basically just a room with some chairs and a computer that acts up sometimes. We deal with what we have and keep moving. It's just local life here in Jind, trying to do something that feels right for the community.
