Sailab Kala Kendra

We are located inside the Fire Brigade Complex right by Safidon Gate. It is an interesting spot to have a business because you can always hear the activity from the station. The place is called Sailab Kala Kendra, and we focus on various types of art and design work. The room we work in has high ceilings and we keep it filled with supplies for the different projects we handle. It can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of materials delivered at once. Safidon Gate is a well-known landmark, so people usually don't have a hard time finding where we are. We have been working out of this complex for a while now. The daily routine is pretty standard. We show up, check what needs to be finished, and get started. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools and the paints. There are always some half-finished pieces leaning against the walls. It is a practical space, not something you would see in a magazine. We mostly deal with people who walk in with a specific idea of what they need. Sometimes we spend the whole day just mixing colors or cutting materials to the right size. It’s a steady kind of life, and being near the fire brigade means there is always something going on outside our door. We just focus on the work at hand.
