We are based at 126/11 in Ward Number 11, right in the Old Anaj Mandi area of Safidon. Specifically, we’re in Pipal Wali Gali, which is named after that big tree nearby. Being in the old grain market means it’s always busy with trucks and people, especially during the harvest seasons. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, but it serves its purpose. We have a few heavy wooden desks and some chairs that have been around for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that right now. Jind can be a hectic district to work in, but we like the energy of Safidon. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in off the street or coordinating with folks at different sites. We keep our records in big ledgers and also on a computer that takes a while to start up in the morning. It’s a very traditional environment. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long, which is actually quite nice once you get used to it. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we’re right there. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and it’s how we’ve always operated in this part of town. We just try to keep up with the daily demands of the market life.
