We've been here at Shop 31 for a while now. It’s tucked inside the 181/12Hb Complex. Most days start with us checking the crates and making sure everything is cool enough. People stop by when they’re thirsty or just passing through the complex. It’s not a huge place, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late and we have to shuffle things around to make room. It’s mostly just us handling the bottles and keeping track of what’s going out. The weather really dictates how much we do. If it’s hot, we’re running around all day. If it’s raining, it gets a bit quiet and we just sit and talk. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything, just a desk and the stock. It’s a simple setup. We know the other shop owners around here well. It feels like a small community inside this building. We handle a lot of different drinks and it’s just a matter of getting them to whoever needs them without much fuss. The floors need sweeping often because of the dust from the street. That’s just how it is. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just here in the complex doing our work day in and day out. Sometimes it's tiring, but we stay until the shutters go down at night and it's time to head home.
