Nirmal Beverages

Nirmal Beverages is located in Ward No. 26, right near the Mayur Hotel on Old Bus Stand Road. It’s a busy part of town because of the hotel and the old bus stand nearby. We have a lot of crates stacked up outside most of the time. The building is a bit worn out, but it keeps the rain off the stock. I usually start my day by checking the deliveries that came in overnight. It’s a lot of physical work, moving bottles and keeping track of the empties. There are a couple of guys from the neighborhood who help out with the trucks. The road out front is always crowded with rickshaws and people walking to the hotel. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted on the wall. It’s a simple operation we've got going here. Sometimes the heat gets to be a bit much in the afternoon, so we take a short break for some cold water. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just focus on getting the beverages out to the shops that need them. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve developed over the years. Ward No. 26 is where we belong and we know the area like the back of our hand. It's just about getting the work done and making sure the crates are full when the trucks leave.
