Kiddo Foundation

Our house is number 136 in the Adarsh Sainik Colony, over in Satrod Kalan near TCP-2. It’s a quiet residential area, mostly families and retired folks. We started the Kiddo Foundation right here in our living room because we saw the kids in the neighborhood didn't have much to do after school. We aren't a big school or a fancy daycare. We're just a group of parents and neighbors who wanted to give the local kids a bit of extra help and a safe place to hang out together. We have some old books, a few desks we found, and a lot of energy. It gets pretty loud in the afternoons when the school bells ring and everyone starts showing up. We help with homework, play some games, and just listen to what's going on in their lives. We don't have a lot of rules, just that everyone has to be kind to each other. It’s not a polished operation. The walls need painting and we’re always running out of pencils or paper. But the kids don't seem to mind the mess. They like having a spot that's just for them. We do this because we live here and we care about the families next door. It’s not about making a name for ourselves. It’s just about making things a little bit better for the next generation in Satrod Kalan. We're just neighbors helping neighbors.
