Jindal Steel Power Ltd is based here at the Electrical Power Plant 2. Our specific spot is in the New E&F Colony, Quarter No. E-100, right along Kharsia Road in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but that’s where we are. Living and working in the colony means we are always close to the action. The power plant is always humming in the background, which you get used to after a few days. Quarter E-100 is just a regular building where we handle our business. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have some old files, a few computers, and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. Kharsia Road is usually busy with trucks and people heading to the plant. We’ve been here for a while, and it feels like home now. The neighbors in the colony are mostly other workers, so we all know what the daily grind is like. Sometimes we have to deal with the dust from the road, but we just clean it up and keep going. Raigarh is a tough place to work because of the heat, but we have our routines. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy promises. We just manage the operations from our little corner of the E&F Colony. It’s a practical setup for the work we do. We usually have a bit of a chat over lunch about what needs to be fixed next.
