It’s a quiet life in Hatt village, Safidon. If you’re looking for the Jcdyouth Development Council, you’ll find us at House Number 1. Being out here in Jind means we are far from the big city lights of Gurgaon or Delhi, but that’s fine by us. We stay busy working with the local young people. Haryana has so much energy, and the kids in our village just need a place where they can focus that energy. We don’t have a fancy office or a corporate boardroom. Most of our work happens right here in the house or out in the fields talking to families. It’s not always a smooth operation; sometimes the power goes out or we run out of supplies, but we just keep going. We don’t really do marketing because everyone around here already knows who we are. It’s more about being part of the community than running a organization. We use simple English and talk to people directly. No big words or empty promises. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sitting around with some tea, figuring out how to help a local student or planning a small event for the youth.
