We operate out of a house in Sector 11 of Jind, specifically house number 5047-P. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main market parts of town. Working from a house gives the foundation a very different feel than a typical office. We use the front rooms for our daily work. There is a small yard outside where we sometimes sit when the weather isn't too hot. Most of us are from around here, so we know the neighborhood well. Jind is a place where people still take the time to talk to each other. We spend our mornings going through emails and sorting out our plans for the week. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere, though we do stay busy. We don’t have a big staff, just a handful of people who handle everything from the cleaning to the paperwork. You won't find any shiny logos or glass partitions here. Just wooden desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We make our own tea in the kitchen and eat lunch together most days. It feels more like a family than a business. We chose to stay in Sector 11 because it's easy for people to find us without dealing with the heavy traffic of the city center. It’s a simple, honest way to run a foundation, and we prefer it that way. We just do our work quietly and steadily, keeping things moving along at our own pace throughout the year.
