Our place is Shop No.467-A in the Auto Market. We are quite close to Jindal Park, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. The market is always buzzing with people looking for parts and materials. We mainly deal in steel, so there’s a lot of heavy lifting involved. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack things up. It gets a bit cramped when a big order comes in. We’ve got metal pipes and various sections leaning against the walls. The floor is mostly dark from years of boots and metal moving over it. We don't really do any fancy advertising; most people just know we’re here in the market. The Jindal Park area is a bit nicer, but once you step into the auto market, it’s all business. It gets loud with all the hammering and the sound of trucks. We usually have a radio playing in the background to pass the time. Sometimes we sit out front on wooden stools when things are slow. Rain can be a bit of a pain because the road gets muddy, which makes loading the trucks a mess. But we just get on with it. It’s a practical job for practical people. We aren't trying to be anything we're not, just a steel shop in the market.
