Hanuman Bricks

Hanuman Bricks is located right on Gohana Road, which is pretty close to the Main Post Office here in Uchana Mandi. If you're driving through Bhiwani, you've probably passed us at some point. We're a local brick kiln, so it’s mostly just stacks of bricks and a lot of red dirt around the place. We don't have a big reception area or anything. You just walk up and talk to whoever is around. It gets pretty hot out here in the summer, especially near the kilns, but the work doesn't really stop. We have people coming in from all over the district to pick up loads. Most of the time it’s just the sound of tractors and trucks moving in and out. The post office is the best landmark if you're trying to explain where we are to someone who hasn't been here before. We've been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. My family helps out with the books and the day-to-day stuff. It isn't the cleanest job in the world, you go home covered in dust every day, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest operation around, just a steady one. The bricks are made right here on the site. Sometimes we have a backlog when the weather is bad, but usually, we keep things moving. Just a regular business on the edge of town doing our thing.
