Drona Academy is up on the second floor of Scf 456, right above the Bank of India. You have to climb the stairs, which can be a bit of a workout if you’re doing it a few times a day. We share the building with a few other offices, so there’s always people coming and going. Downstairs at the bank, there’s usually a line, but up here it’s a bit different. We’ve got classrooms set up with basic benches and whiteboards. It’s not a high-tech setup, but it works for teaching. You can hear the hum of the fans and the sound of the traffic outside while we’re going through lessons. Sometimes the light from the windows is a bit too bright in the morning, so we have to adjust the curtains. We spend most of our time talking about exams and subjects, trying to make sense of the books. The hallways are a bit narrow, and it gets a bit loud when classes change over and everyone is moving at once. We’ve been in this building for a while now, and the walls have some scuffs from all the students passing through. It’s just a place where we try to help kids learn a bit more than they knew yesterday. No big speeches, just honest work and a lot of pens and paper. We're usually around until late evening. It keeps us busy. That's how it goes in this building.
