We are over in Shiv Colony in Jind, right near the Luminus Service Center. The office is at Roshan Lal’s place. It’s a quiet residential kind of area, which suits us just fine. DREAM4SUCCESS NIDHI LIMITED isn’t some massive bank with glass walls. We are just a local Nidhi company. Most of our day is spent sitting at the desks, going through the savings records and checking loan applications from the members. It’s a lot of writing and stamping papers. The neighborhood is pretty steady, and we know many of the people who walk past our door. Sometimes we have to step out to get some supplies or some snacks from the shop around the corner. We keep the office simple with just the essentials. There is a table for the members to sign their documents and a few cupboards for the files. We don’t have any fancy computer systems that do everything for us. We still rely on a lot of paper and ink. Jind is a good place to be, and Shiv Colony is where we feel at home. We just show up every morning, open the files, and start our work. It’s not a complicated operation, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We make sure the books are balanced before we head home for the day. We keep a small radio on for some background noise while we write.
