Dlf Laing O Rourke

Our setup is in Jind, Haryana, specifically over in Krishna Colony at House Number 433/15. If you know Jind, you know it’s a place where everyone kind of knows everyone else. Our office isn't anything big or impressive. It’s a simple house that we use for our Dlf Laing O Rourke operations. We don't have a lobby with a receptionist; you just knock on the door and walk in. The walls are painted a simple white, and we have a few old fans that click when they spin, but they get the job done. We spend our days dealing with the local logistics of our building projects. There’s a lot of talking to suppliers and checking on workers. Since we’re in a residential colony, it’s usually pretty quiet, which is nice for when we have to concentrate on the numbers or the paperwork. We don't use big words or corporate talk. We just tell it like it is. If a shipment is late, we deal with it. If a plan needs changing, we sit down and figure it out. The neighborhood is friendly, and we often have tea with the people living nearby in the evenings. It feels more like a community than a business sometimes. We’ve been at this address for a while and have become a small part of the local scenery in Krishna Colony. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and it works for us.
