Ratani Enterprises

We are located in Chawani Bazar in Jhunjhunu. Our plot is right in the middle of the market bustle, not far from Rani Sati Road. If you know the area, you know that Chawani Bazar is always loud and full of people looking for all sorts of things. We are an enterprise that deals with various goods, so our space is often cluttered with whatever we are moving that week. The shop or office—it’s a bit of both—is part of an older building that has seen a lot of history. The walls have been painted a few times, but you can still see the age. We open up early in the morning when the market starts to wake up. It’s a very local way of doing business. We know our customers by name and spend a lot of time chatting over tea. There isn't a computer for everything; we still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with notebooks and pens. Being near Rani Sati Road is great because it brings a lot of foot traffic past our door. The summers here get very hot, so we have a few old fans whirring away to keep the air moving. It’s a simple life, focused on buying and selling and keeping the business going. We don’t have any corporate policies to show off, just a commitment to showing up every day and doing what needs to be done.
