Geeta Aluminium

Geeta Aluminium is located right near the Deshenik School in Chirawa. Being so close to the school means we hear the bell ring and see the kids walking home every afternoon. It is a familiar rhythm for us. We work with aluminium, mostly cutting and fitting things for local houses or small shops. The shop itself is full of metal scraps and different frames. It can get quite loud when the saws are going, so we often have to shout a bit to hear each other. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us here making sure the measurements are right. Sometimes a customer brings in a drawing on a piece of scrap paper, and we do our best to make it work. Chirawa is a small enough place where word of mouth is how most people find us. We keep our doors open throughout the day, and you can usually smell the metal and the oil from the street. It isn't a polished showroom, just a working shop where we get our hands dirty. We've had some of the same machines for years, and they still work fine if you know how to handle them. We just try to get the jobs done on time so people can finish their windows or doors. It is a steady way to make a living and we are glad to be part of the neighborhood here. Every job is different and that keeps it interesting.
