Balaji Pharma

If you go down Hospital Road in Singhana, you will find Balaji Pharma. Singhana is in the Jhunjhunun district, and Hospital Road is exactly what it sounds like—a road with a lot of medical activity. We have a shop right there. It is a bit of a confusing address if you look at the records because Hospital Road is mentioned a few times, but basically, we are just right there where all the action is. Our space is filled with metal racks and wooden counters. It’s often quite dusty outside because of the traffic on the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass and the boxes. We are just local folks working here. There is nothing corporate about Balaji Pharma at all. We have a simple routine that starts with a cup of tea, and then we get to work sorting out the day's shipments. The Jhunjhunun area is home to us, and we know many of the other shop owners on this street. It’s a community. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or fancy offices. We just have a solid place with walls full of medicines. It gets quite loud with the horns honking outside, but we just keep our heads down and count our stock. It’s a steady job and we are glad to be doing it here. Some days are long, but that is just part of the business. We just keep the door open and do our work.
