Rs Engineering Work

The workshop is situated right on the Main Road, near the Birla Road intersection, and the Jyoti Hotel is the best landmark to tell people when they are looking for us. It is a straightforward engineering place where we handle a lot of different repairs and metal work. The traffic on the road outside is constant, so there is always a layer of grit on the windows that we have to wipe off. Inside, it is mostly lathes, welding equipment, and piles of scrap metal in the corners. We start the day by checking the machines and seeing what orders came in. It is a hands-on kind of job, and our clothes usually end up with oil spots by the end of the shift. The hotel nearby brings in a lot of people, so we see plenty of faces passing by our door every hour. We do not have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of stools and the sound of the machines running. Sometimes we have to work outside if the pieces are too big for the shop floor, which gets us a lot of looks from people driving by on Birla Road. It is honest work and the days go by pretty fast when there is a lot to weld or fix. We just keep the tools sharp and the work moving along as best as we can in the space we have.
