Ramesh Rice & Oil Mill

Ramesh Rice & Oil Mill is located at Plot No.-148 in Arya Nagar. We are quite easy to find because we are right near the Rani Sati Mandir. Our mill has been running for many years now. It’s a noisy place because the machines are almost always going. We process rice and we also extract oil from seeds. The smell of the mill is very strong, a mix of grain and fresh oil, which you can smell from down the street. It’s a very practical place with no fancy decorations. The walls are made of plain brick and there’s always a fine layer of dust on everything. We have a small group of men who work the machines and move the heavy sacks around. It’s a lot of manual labor and it gets very hot in the summer months. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a family-run mill where we all pitch in to get the work done. Our customers are mostly local families and small shops in Arya Nagar who need fresh oil or rice. We don't do any ads or anything like that. People know us because we’ve been here at Plot 148 for so long. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the bags are filled correctly. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we’ve always done and it keeps us going day after day.
