We are set up in Udaipurwati, specifically at Suresh Kumar Saini’s place in Ward No. 19. If you are looking for us, we are right near the PNB Bank, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. The office is just a regular room that we have turned into a workspace. It is not very big, but it has enough room for our files and a place for people to sit when they come in. Being near the bank means there is always something going on outside, with people coming and going all day. We start our mornings by opening the shutters and letting some air in. Most of our day is spent handling the usual paperwork and talking to people from the neighborhood. It is a very hands-on job and we don't use much fancy technology. We have a small table for tea in the corner, which gets a lot of use in the afternoons. The walls are decorated with a few old calendars and some notes we have tacked up. It feels more like a home office than a corporate building, which makes it a comfortable place to spend the day. We know most of the people who walk past our door by name. It is a very grounded way to work, and we like being right in the middle of Udaipurwati where everything is happening.
