Anjali General Item is located right by the Ghoomchakkar Circle in Nawalgarh. If you are coming from the main part of town, you just look for the Mahindra Showroom because we are very close to it. Being near the Ghoomchakkar Circle means we see a lot of people passing through on their way to other places. Our shop sells all sorts of small things that people might need in a hurry. We have stuff like notebooks, pens, soaps, and other daily household items. The shelves are quite high, so I often have to use a small ladder to reach things for the customers. Nawalgarh can get very windy and dusty, so a lot of that dust ends up on our front step every morning. I usually start the day by dusting off the jars and the packets on display. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights, just a regular shop with a fan that squeaks a little bit when it is on the high setting. We get a lot of students coming in for school supplies since we are easy to reach. Sometimes I sit out front on a plastic chair when the shop is quiet, just watching the cars and bikes go around the circle. The Mahindra showroom next door always has shiny new vehicles, which is a big contrast to our little general store. We just try to keep the basics in stock for the neighbors and the people passing through.
