Sarvodaya Central Academy Sr. Secondary School

Our school, Sarvodaya Central Academy Sr. Secondary School, sits right on Railway Station Road in Chirawa. Being so close to the station means there’s always something happening nearby, which keeps things interesting. We’ve been here in the Jhunjhunu district for quite a while, and the school has become a place people know well. It’s a senior secondary setup, so we have the older kids who are getting ready for their big life changes. The building is quite large and we try to keep it in good shape, though old buildings always need something fixed. Our teachers are a hardworking bunch who live nearby and really care about the kids in their classes. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just teach. We have our daily routines, starting with the morning assembly and then moving into the different subjects. The sound of the trains passing by is just part of the background noise for us now. We spend our time making sure the students have their notes and that the classrooms are ready for the next day. It’s a lot of practical work, from fixing a leaky tap to helping a student understand a hard lesson. We’re just a local school doing what schools do, right here by the tracks in Chirawa. It isn't always perfect but we show up every day and do the work that needs doing for our students.
