New Rajasthan School

New Rajasthan School is located right on the Churu - Jhunjhunu Road in Bissau. It’s a very straightforward place, sitting out where the road connects these two towns. Being in Jhunjhunu means we deal with a lot of dust and heat, especially when the summer hits. The school is basically a series of rooms centered around an open space. Most of the people who work here are locals from Bissau who know the families in the area quite well. We don't have a big office or a team of people doing marketing. It’s just us, the teachers, and a few people to help with the cleaning and maintenance. The trucks passing by on the main road make quite a bit of noise, but we have gotten used to it over the years. Life at the school follows a very set routine. We open the gates early, the kids arrive from the nearby villages, and we get to work on the day's lessons. It’s not a polished or corporate environment. Sometimes the walls need a new coat of paint, or the fans get a bit noisy, but we just keep things going. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about their kids' progress in a very informal way. It feels more like a community gathering than a formal institution most of the time. We are just a local school trying to provide a place for the families living along this dusty road.
